I know it is kind of late in the month to be posting about NaNo, but I was wondering if any other members of The Writing Life are doing NaNo this year.

This is my first year and I have 31,885 words so far.

Hi CJ

Actually I think I've stumbled across this site partly because I'm in my post-nano deflation period and need to get away from my words for a bit. I uploaded my word count yesterday and it checked in at about 54,000 words. So, enough to win. This is year number 5 and I have a tendency to finish early then crash. The story still needs a lot of work and there are a couple of plotlines I have to pull together. But first, I need a little break to catch up on sleep.

I just wanted everyone here to know that I completed and crossed the NaNo finish line with my 50K plus words in tow.

Congratulations to you, brave people. I did not go for NaNoWriMo and I don't think I could ever do that. Sounds nerve-wrecking. Too much writing to do in such a short time.
